Please take a moment to read through the following terms which outline how we work, ensuring a smooth and professional service for all our clients.

Bookings & Scheduling
All cleaning appointments must be confirmed in advance by phone, email, or message.
Regular time slots will be agreed upon in advance. We aim to be punctual and will inform you if there is any delay.

Preparing for Your Clean
To ensure the best possible results, we ask that your home is in a generally tidy state before your scheduled clean. This includes clearing surfaces, putting away laundry, dishes, and personal items. This allows us to focus fully on the cleaning tasks and deliver the high standard of service you expect.

If you’d like tidying or organisation included as part of your clean, please let us know in advance — we’re happy to accommodate this where time allows and may adjust the booking accordingly.

Payment Terms
Full payment is required no later than 24 hours before your scheduled clean.
Payments can be made via [bank transfer / PayPal / other accepted methods – update to suit].
Failure to make payment within this timeframe may result in cancellation of the appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 24 hours’ notice.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, 50% of the cleaning fee will be charged.
Missed appointments with no notice will be charged at the full rate.
We understand that emergencies happen – please contact us as early as possible if you need to make changes.

Access to Property
The client is responsible for providing access to the property at the agreed time.
If access is not available upon arrival and no alternative arrangements have been made, the appointment will be considered a missed visit and charged in full.

Cleaning Standards
We pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of cleaning and attention to detail.
If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 24 hours

Liability
We are fully insured for public liability and take the utmost care in your home.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear.
Any valuable or fragile items should be safely stored or pointed out before the clean begins.

Health & Safety
We reserve the right to decline service in environments that pose health or safety risks.
Please inform us of any hazards, pets, or special requirements ahead of time.

Data Privacy (GDPR Compliance)
We take your privacy seriously and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Any personal information (e.g. name, address, contact details) is collected solely for the purpose of providing our cleaning services.
Your data is stored securely and will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
You have the right to request access to, or deletion of, your personal data at any time by contacting us.

Eco-Friendly Products
At Sarah’s Country House Cleaning, we are committed to using eco-friendly cleaning products whenever possible. We will use these products to the best of our ability, taking care to balance effectiveness with environmental responsibility.

Please note that while we strive to use only eco-friendly products supplied by us, there may be occasions where specific products or tasks require alternatives for safety or effectiveness. Any such instances will be discussed with you prior to the clean.
